- Medications – To treat epilepsy or ADHD, the drugs that are used can cause insomnia.
- The sleeping environment – sleeping in an environment such as a room that is too hot or cold, noisy neighbors, and a snoring partner can disrupt your sleep.
- Poor sleep hygiene – Drinking coffee or smoking cigarettes closed to bedtime habit can stimulate the nervous system and makes you sleepless.
- Babies – Parents mostly experience sleep deprivation because their babies are frequently waking up in the night for feeding or comfort.
